Default Fun with interrupts...

Ah, so many people hate the interrupter... surely the interrupters out here must have some moments of their own that bring a warm smile to their hearts... for example in the arenas and you hit that rez sig with a distracting shot (one of my favorites), or even that time you hit the opposing rangers poison arrow with distracting shot leaving him standing there trying to figure out what to do next...

Share some interrupter love, make us smile.

For me... in ranger interrupter mode, I stayed on a monk and had a zen timing going... he was shut down so bad he simply left the match.

You?

Oh, for those non-interrupters, without flaming the interrupters, what is it that really sticks in your craw when it gets hit?

Keep it light, please... keep it fun.

The best one has to be smacking down the troll unguent of some ranger who has gone "all-out-interrupt" himself but fails to throw up any defenses against my distracting shot

2 Interrupt rangers make Thunderhead Keep a walk in the park, they just interrupt ALL the stomps and ALL enemy spells.

Good interrupters can wait to interrupt a spell at 95%, instead of at 25% especially by rusty dazed migraine warriors that use signets.

I LOVED to "daze" mesmers to death before the patch, wasnt even spiking.

I really liked the opponent ranger mesmer that brought all interrupts he could to cast them all on me.
I just walked around a little bit while my allies killed their team.

Every once in a while I switch up my axe build to carry both disrupting chop and distracting blow...man, does that frustrate enemy casters. Hurts my offense a bit, but couple that with Fear Me! and you can be a real pain in the rear...

Using distracting shot on... distracting shot. Best. Interrupt. Ever.

Ranger was running around to kite my shots, then stopped to fire a distracting shot at one of the monks, as soon as he stopped running, I prefired distracting shot hoping to hit something, and got him firing his. Had a damn good laugh at that one.

My favorite interrupt is the Necro blood spell Mark of Subversion. It's great blood spiking a monk down half way and then throwing on Mark. Imagine their surprise when instead of healing themselves the spell is interrupted, they take an additional 100 damage and I'm healed for 100. Mark generally seals any Monk's fate when they fight me.

Working monks over until they are running their orison and healing touch combo to keep themselves alive...then hitting healing touch with distracting shot...then watching them run...then going after them and finishing them easily.

But ya distracting a distracting...that just CRAZY TALK!

my personal favorite is a ranger with air ele secondary. simply wait for the person on the other team to get into thier groove doing their intrerupts and then counter interupt. they almost never see it coming.

I have a hammer warrior, and I'm trying to perfect my interrupts. I am in Tombs fighting an all ranger and one monk team. I hate rangers so I go after the monk and start bashing on him. My adrenaline is up so I use Devastating hammer... he goes down, I hit him with Irresistable blow. When he gets up and starts to cast, I use hammer bash and he goes down again. He gets up and starts to run and I use Bull's strike, and he goes down again. At this point I'm LMAO. I do this over and over again. We are eventually defeated but I must have really pissed off that monk.... smile.

Yes, strike.

Gotta love power blocking that primary healer in GvG or pvp. Just watching him sit there doing nothing in the corner of your screen is worth it.

About two months ago in Scarred Earth, I was on interrupt ranger and well we were already winning against this team so I was targetting this warrior, he just freshly eviscerated one of our monks, and was a good distance away so I fire off a distracting shot...and nailed his axe rake ^_^.

I play an R/Me in PvP arenas, my favorite was interrupting something ridiculous like 6 rez sigs in a single match.

It's also mildly amusing to find a monk that panics when poison arrow gets him... you start seeing him spam mend ailment or something like that instead of healing. When you interrupt that, you can almost see it's underwear fill up.
